Talk On The Wild Side
"In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught." (Baba Dioum, 1968.)
Unfairly demonised all around the world for thousands of years, snakes certainly need as many friends as they can get. Being 'Venomous' or 'Dangerous' is only part of their story.
โWildlife Educatorsโ Michael and Annie use their contagious enthusiasm to help visitors view snakes in a different light. Guests will have the chance to see a live venomous snake handling demonstration from behind a safe, protective barrier. A more hands-on, interactive approach is adopted when meeting our friendly, non-venomous snakes.
As well as including curriculum content ranging from ๐๐ฆ๐ฌ-๐๐ฆ๐ฑ+ (๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ป - ๐ด๐๐ต ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ+), with the help of a slideshow presentation, Michael, Annie and our animal ambassadors share:*Ways to identify and deal with unwelcomed visits from their wild cousins commonly found in Phuket.*Why are snakes important?* Basic snake bite first aid.
